System which is easy to use and allows organisations to demonstrate that their employees are adequately trained and experienced enough to carry out their job function(s). Chronological and historical record of each individual’s formal qualifications, experiences and training episodes. Mechanism to manage, review and identify additional training needs for an individual, team or organisation on a regular, systematic and timely basis. Mechanism to schedule, populate, conduct and record training events in a controlled and effective manner. Capability to manage the competency of individuals, teams and the overall organisation. Mechanism to automatically identify employees, suppliers or sub-contractors impacted by changes to working practices or processes and to instigate relevant training as appropriate. |
Demonstrating employee competence and capability has always been a challenge to regulated organisations. The Training & Competence module will be highly useful to both the HR and Compliance functions, irrespective of which has primary ownership of the problem. The Q-Pulse Training and Competence module is specifically designed to allow both functions to work together or to allow one to take the lead.
If you only require a record of training and updated training plans as required, the Q-Pulse Training and Competence module can provide you with this. However, heavily regulated organisations may need to demonstrate competency. The Q-Pulse Training and Competence module is designed specifically to make it as simple as possible to maintain adequate records of employee, process and organisational capabilities.
The Q-Pulse Training and Competence module also reduces the effort required to plan ahead of training events. It gives managers the capability to undertake a quick search which highlights forth-coming events and allows the sourcing of suitable cover during the period of absence for employees attending such events.
Q-Pulse can integrate with email systems to offer point-of-need access to training records direct from automatic email notification of upcoming or overdue events or actions. Direct access to compliance actions from a central register streamlines the management of processes, reducing the effort spent managing activities and accelerating time to completion for actions.
The link between Document Control module and training needs has proven historically to have been used to great effect by our users. In the event that a document or process changes, Q-Pulse identifies who is impacted by this change and identifies the need for a training event to the individual concerned and management. Such events are tracked through to conclusion, preventing problems associated with outdated techniques or instructions and ensuring any required training is flagged and completed.
We are delighted with the flexibility and capability of the Training &
Competence module. It provides a user-friendly way to demonstrate compliance
and is inclusive to the people impacted. It allows organisations to progress
from record holding through training planning to competency management,
