ISO 9001 - Auditor
Quality Manager

As the Quality Manager, it is your primary role to verify that the standards required by the Authority, and any additional requirements defined by the operator, are being carried out under the supervision of the relevant Nominated Postholder. It is also your responsibility to ensure that the Quality Management System (QMS) is properly established and maintained, covers all parts of the organisation, including the relevant parts of any subcontractors organisations, and is internally audited within an agreed timescale.

With such a wide and varied responsibility and workload, the Quality Manager is under significant pressure to achieve, maintain and demonstrate compliance to Authorities in a structured and controlled manner. This pressure is increased due to the time and effort required to document policies and procedures. Valuable management time is consumed with the planning, implementing and documenting of audits, non-compliances going unrecorded or root causes unidentified. This results in a distinct lack of continual improvement.

Q-Pulse is the market-leading solution for Aviation Quality Management and, as the scrutiny of regulatory compliance continues, hundreds of aviation Quality Managers are implementing Q-Pulse to support them in the management of their approvals including Thomas Cook Airlines, Air Malta, Jet2 and Spanair.

Developed by the Quality professionals at Gael, Q-Pulse will:

- Enhance response times to audit findings by streamlining audit planning and tracking activities

- Reduce non-compliance analysis time and effort to facilitate resolution and drive continuous improvement

- Ensure the right people are working on the right actions at the right time by enhancing communication and action visibility

- Address issues at a personal, departmental or organisational level by analysing all non-compliances by occurrence and cost
